So I feel that i should update everyone. Im excited! So i know that temp is very important but i didnt think i realized HOW important it is, and how the smallest fluctuations in heat can make a difference. Wellll I got a digital thermo and make sure the temps were PERFECT, changed his bedding to aspen, and upped his food... and let me tell you.. he is seriously SO MUCH HAPPIER! For the past two days he has been wrapped up in his tree, which he never would do before! And now i can show all my friends how pretty he is. He just seems so content. I got a scale also and he weighs 26grams, and he is 11 months old. He is on the smaller side but still healthy :) im a happy momma! I wouldnt have been able to figure all this out without you guys.
So thanks again.

Aww. That's too bad. Just wait at least ten days before offering food again. When you do, just offer him the head of a pink.

No fuzzy? That was his third fuzzy and i picked him up after 2 days after i fed him and weighed him really quick, and then it was there.

I've had to cut the mouse's head before to expose the brain, has something to do with the snake's sense of smell & makes the food more appealing.

I guess it's like when you smell a wonderful mouth watering dish when you walk near a restaurant, makes you want it & though you didn't think you were hungry, that smell has suddenly made you hungry for it!

No I would start with small prey because they scalebaby needs time for his tummy juices to get back on track after the regurge.
