An anole for a snack

Jared

Ninja Turtles!
How big in diameter do you think a green anole is? And is it alright to give an anole as a snack or will something bad happen?

i don't think anything bad would happen as long as you are sure the anole is parasite free. they eat anoles in the wild. the one bad thing is, that your corn may turn down mice after eating an anole.

diameter

well does anyone know the diameter of a anole? and i don't think my corn would ever turn down any food, he's always looking for food :) i think my corn is about an inch maybe more in diameter(estimate)

It's definately not an inch in diameter, I'd say 1/4 to 1/2 for the anole. It definately won't be too big, but I really wouldn't recommend it because you don't want to take that chance of messing up the feeding routine. Also, if you are going to do it, make sure that someone hasn't wc the anoles even if they are in a petstore.

Don't be so sure. Tried a rat pup on my best eater tonight. I just knew he'd absolutely love it! He wanted nothing to do with it. Took it out and subsituted it with his regular meal, an adult mouse and he was on it in a heart beat. I have a finicky eater who won't eat mouse fuzzies who loves rat pinks. You can try it, but be ready to possibly have to start buying anoles!
