I have one girl who laid REALLY EARLY last year (about this time, yes this is early for me all you crazy people with pippies! ;D ). So early that, in fact, it surprised the heck out of me and I hadn't put an eggbox in there D:
Well, she refused food today, and I certainly do have an eggbox in with her now... here's hoping there'll be eggs soon!

Okay so I'm rambling a bit, but I'm excited!!! I'll get some pics whenever she does lay :)
 
Gah, no, she tricked me! Hanging out in her egg box and not eating and everything. :p I put her with her mate today to see if he was still interested (a few days ago there seemed to be no interest) and they went at it again.
Guess she'll be on more a "normal" schedule this year. I admit I'm a little sad, I was getting excited about eggs!
 
Oh my goodness, how do you contain the excitement.... you must be bursting. What an amazing experience. keep us posted on how many she lays.

She laid 16 eggs last year, thinking it's going to be a good clutch this year as my timing's a lot better!

I have pics! Not the greatest pics - better believe I'll take some when I think she's done (tomorrow?? Ack... maybe late tonight...)

Here's her (Candy) and the male (Gilgamesh) breeding this season :)
Candy's het butter motley and Gil's butter het motley. I bred this pair last year but screwed up and only 2 out of 16 eggs made it -- so looking forward to doing better this year!
I think this is going to be my favorite clutch to hatch out this season - 8 different kinds of babies! Everything from normals to butter mots! :D

This is my first season active on the forum during this exciting time of breeding, laying and soon pippies.... how cool. Psuedo breeding living vicariously through you guys :)
 
I know how you feel. I've been cruising everyone else's egg and hatchling photos!

Well I checked on her - not sure if she's done yet. But I wanted to add some substrate over the eggs to make sure I can leave them overnight. Also took some quick pics - I think I see 23 eggs?

She's a big girl! Lots of room for eggs :) One of my faves (admittedly, I have a lot of faves...)

I think it looks like she wants to shove me XD
