Any Issues Using an Air Purifier?

I'm just curious if anyone has had any issues using an Air Purifier in the house around your herps. I know that if WE aren't used to it and walk into a "purified" room, the air almost has a "metallic flavor" to it.

Does anyone here think it might be detrimental or actually have any experience with this? I can't think of how it could be "bad" for them, but I don't claim to know everything. LOL.

Any help/positive input would be appreciated!

Most air purifiers emit ozone. The amopunts emitted aren't harmful to humans, and I don't think they are harmful to other animals so long as you don't keep the device right next to your animals. I have an air purifier in the room I keep my snakes in and they have never had any health problems related to that or anything else so it should be fine.

Thanks for the input. "OZONE" is the word I was trying to "come up with" when I typed the question and used "metallic flavor", but at just after 6:30 am... I was still sleeeeepppyyyy...

I just think it is "weird" how it really makes the air "taste/smell" different. Just now I walked in after getting the oil changed in my car... and WHOA.... LOL.

Again, thanks for the input and advice.
