My grandfather has bred them for years i have always found them interesting myself, but never bought any.

Alas now i am bitten with what he calls the bug...

So, now i am having to learn about tetraploids and diploids. Its all very exciting and new.

And unlike my snakes the generations will come much faster.

so far have purchased

-daring deception-tetraploid
-soft summer night-tetraploid
-woodside romance-diploid

I fear this could get out of hand....

I also have
H.fulva in the yard and

Stella de Oro Daylily

..... The only problem I have so far is telling diploids and tetras apart.

So any advice?

What is your experience with plants?

I have a few- I don't know what they are, really. I do have Stella de Oro. I have some gorgeous purple/raspberry ones. You need to talk to Dave Partington; he's the plant expert around here. And Stephenie, Raven Spirit, but she's more into cactus and succulents and desert plants. And Graham, also desert plants.
