Wow I love reading these old threads that I posted! It's really amazing to see how my language, attitude, and thought process has changed with time. I was reading an old thread from when I bought Salazar and was trying to get a positive I.D. on him... Okatee, Okeetee, I've seen it spelled both ways, still not sure which is correct. I still call Salazar an Okatee, He has beautiful colors regardless of genetics and is a great snake. I would like to add that the farm he came from is the very same one that you can watch on T.V... I think the show is called "Swamp Brothers". Turns out that herp rescue/farm, "Glades Herp Farm" is local and actually the farm that supplies my local pet store. Since I did not get my snake from petco or petsmart, I got it from a local family owned store I found out that this has been their source for many many years. It is pretty cool to see something local on T.V. I am hoping to be able to take my kids out there and tour the farm some time in the future!

"Okeetee", from the Okeetee Hunt Club in South Carolina.

There is, however, an Okatie County, S.C. But the "morph" Corn Snake is Okeetee.
