Okay 3 weeks ago I ordered an amel from reptile depot. After a week I call to see where my order is at. The guy on the phone was in shipping & said he would pass on to billing since my card had to be verified or something. After 3 more calls to them that day my snake was shipped out and I got her the next morning. Well low and behold last night I got a FED-EX tracking # with a shipment from reptile depot again. And no I did not order from them again. Well first thing this morning another snake arrived. Some kind of miss communication must have happened between shipping & billing and they never marked my order as shipped and now I have 2 amels. though one is more orange color while other has red highlights. Guess I should set up another viv. they both are relatively same size and female just don't want to take my chances.:spinner:
 
 
Tried looking them up when I first was looking at placing order & only found one bad instant on them, now I know I'm going with private breeder if ever again. I just received 5 proven breeders from private looking to sell off his stock, so next year I'll be looking to sell my own hatchlings.
 
I would check to make sure they don't charge you for both of them..

I've gotten a freebie with the order. But the breeder knew he put her in there. So thats the closest I can come. lol
 
regardless of whose mistake it was the moral thing to do would be to let them know and ask if they want it back, if they do they should obviously pay for the shipping, what most likely will happen is that they will let you keep it, but you should at least tell them.
 
I called them they admitted the mistake was on their end and told me to go ahead and enjoy her. I was concerned they would realize the mistake and charge me but I guess their fault so my luck.

Well the snake on pumpkin is the 1st amel they sent the next is the second. The second is a darker red with a lot of orange in background.

SEE THAT! you get to keep the second snake and your conscience is clean! Nothing like real honesty. Great decision in calling them!
 
It was also real weird since it was two weeks later and I was thinking I know I didn't order from them again. Then I had this feeling that it was going to be another snake when I got the fed-ex tracking #.
 
Theres an old saying. (Don`t look a gift horse in the mouth). You got, buy one get one free. Leave it at that... Good luck...
