Anyone from UK? Need brumation help!

I have mentioned this on another thread breifly but will try again!

The temps in my house in winter during the day are about 68 - 70 (too hot!) but during the night they can drop down to 40 or less. I want to brumate my snakes but am finding the idea of it impossible! My only idea would be to get an old freezer we have, and put it outside with a small spare 6 x 12" heat mat positioned in such a way the temp remains a constant 55 give or take a couple degrees. Thermostats don't go down to this temp. so can't use one of those...

Anyone else who lives the UK or similar climate experience problems like this? Anyone have any ideas!? Please!

not sure where you got those details from.
they are around 82-85f, give or take a little..
a lot in the uk dont use bulbs and therefor the heat will stay pretty constant.

:-offtopic Well one time someone asked the age to breed mice and I replied 3 years, 3 feet and 300 grams. That would be one big mouse :sidestep: susang
