Poofy-Headed Snake-Addict
I recently hatched out a clutch of baby corns produced by a friend. I am unsure of the parents, I would have to ask her again what they were, but the babies are all normals. However, 4 of 16 had very large gaps in their belly checks, and a couple others had a little gap here and there. I already split the babies with her, so I only have two of the big-gapped ones left.
I'm just wondering if this is something that happens regularly, or if its somehow genetic? Just for curiosity's sake really. All but one of the odd hatchlings have a normal pattern, the last is zig zag.
