i don't know why either...maybe because they have small little heads with eyes that pop out from both sides...like as soon as i got my first corn..just a few months after i had to get another one..not only to company my other snake but to se
 
Yes! I find them adorable, especially ghostish corns with big black eyes (lavenders?). They seem to have a slight smirk or smile to them, similar to the way leopard geckos have a mellow smile on them. Also the way they sorta peek out at you and freeze when you look at them and slip back into their hide real fast, acting like they were caught doing something bad. And the way some baby snakes rattle their tails and coil up in striking pose, but never strike and calm down the minute you pick them up. And how some corns when you hold them, they come up real close to your face and stick a tongue at you, and coil back real fast as if expecting retaliation.

especially when they peek out of their hides to say hello before you turn off their lights...or when I lift up my girls' dish to find them curled up together like a little hug

YES, I find the babies to be very cute. I love looking at these tiny little things.. And seeing them grow into beautiful, adult snakes... Kind of like human children, only with scales.:D

I think corns are pretty but not cute. My BP's are cute though IMO.
 
of corse they are. i love it when they come up to you when you looking at them in there cage and see what you up to.;)
