Are there any major differences between different types of corn snakes?

Have trouble deciding what kind of corn snake I want to get (my first) and was wondering what differences there are between them, besides color. Are some tamer than others, are some easier to feed?
:shrugs:

Thanks

types of corns

I think that some Okeetees are a bit more fiesty than others. But this is highly variable. They also seem to be really excellent eaters - hard to believe how readily mine takes frozen pinkies - eats it within two minutes, literally. A have one from Kathy Love and that is definitely the case with him. And she advised me that this might be the case when I bought him. I don't know why that is. Some have said that they are not far removed from wild corns, who knows. I have also noticed a lot of people on the forum say that their amels and snows are very mellow. Maybe that is because they are far removed from corns in the wild. But this is really speculative. As to other breeds I haven't noticed any common notes from people on the forum.

My Okeetee is rather shy, but has never been aggressive. She has been more difficult to feed as well, so now I feed her in her viv on paper to cut down on stress. As she's gotten older, I've found that she's starting to mellow, and is feeding much better. I hear that certain morphs are more difficult to get eating, but I can't remember who posted the observation.

It wan't me, but I do recall reading that the true Miami Phase snakes are smaller as hatchlings and often need to be started on lizards. Then you have to transition them from lizards to mice. My amel and motley both feed very well and are generally even tempered.

Also , Cornsnakes sold as "Jungle Corns" are actually corn x kingsnake hybrids and its worth bearing in mind that it will be likely to try and consume any cagemate it might have as it will retain its kingsnake instincts.
