I bought my first hatchling corn in February. Since its not the dead of winter anymore I was able to remove his supplemental heat lamp. The ambient temperature in my room where the snake is kept is 70 degrees constant. The left side of my snakes viv is the warm side with a heat Mat and hide. The right side has a smaller hide and his water bowl that doubles as a "cave" underneath. I constructed this hide/waterfowl about a 3 weeks ago and ever since he has pretty much stayed under there. Ill plop a pinky in his viv and he'll come right out, eat, and go right back.
My question is, is it healthy for my for my corn to essentially live in constant 70 degree weather?
NOTE: Warm side is 80*
Cool side is ambient 70*
