Aspen Bedding Suggestion

XIRURG

New member
Hey everyone!
I was just wondering if i should obtain Aspen bedding for my future corn snake, i saw many people use it, but those aspen chips look pretty small and i am worrying that the snake doesnt swallow them by accident. Any suggestions?

I use aspen without a problem. However, I would not suggest that you feed on it! Have a seperate tank or box of some sort to feed in.

I house and feed colubrids of all sizes on aspen chips.. love the stuff...

But Aspin chips are different to Aspin shreddings.

I use Aspin for my adults, but I also feed them in seperate containers. The only substrate which I would feed my snakes on would be paper towels, Newspaper, Astroturf or Reptile flooring ect.
