CAREFRESH

HELLO AGAIN, WHAT EXACTLY IS CAREFRESH? HOW IS THE DUST AND ODER CONTROL. WHERE WOULD YOU BUY IT? THANKS REG

To Reg

Everthing I have heard about care fresh tells me it should not be used for corn snakes.
Too dusty, too messy just not the right thing for snakes.
This is only what I have read on several occaisions so I can't give personal views on the subject.
But I have never seen good reviews.
I think you would do better looking into a different substarte.

actually, i have tried several other substrates, and none of them have been perfect, however the carefresh works good for me. Usually, it is not that dusty. I had one bag that seemed to have a lot of dust, but i shook it up a little and let it 'air out' and it was fine. When i have used bark substrates, there was more dust in them than in what i use now, so i think nothing is ever going to be perfect...
