Balls And Corns <3
Well, my corn snake got out. :( Where should I start looking? I have no idea how he got out. I'm totally in shock as I just had my boa pass away from heat when I was without power & now this.

There are infinite places. I'd check in drawers and behind dressers first. Then just start looking everywhere you can possibly think of.

You could set up some traps. Here is a bottle trap: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78638&highlight=bottle+trap . You could put a mouse in there and hopefully your snake will crawl in, and once they're in they can't get out.

If you have any dogs or cats, watch them really closely. They could point you in the right direction. When my gerbil got out, I found her within literally a minute because of my cats.

You could also sprinkle flour on the floor at the doors and along the walls. Snakes will usually follow the walls, so if he does you will be able to see the tracks in the flour. It will also let you know if her has been in a room and left. It would be a good idea to put out some water dishes, and sprinkle flour around those too to see if he is drinking from them.

Best of luck. :wavey:

He could be literally anywhere. I've had a few escapees, one baby turned up on the top shelf of my rodent closet! I don't even know how she got up there. Dogs and cats are fantastic for finding escaped snakes, especially if they're bigger. How big is your corn?

We had one escape twice, and both times it escaped we couldn't find it until we completely rearranged the apartment - she showed up the next day cause obviously we'd disturbed her hiding spot. Rearranging/disturbing everything (carefully) might be worth a shot.
