I took a quick peek at everyone today, they seem to be digesting their last meal quite fine :) Here is how I found August, I think she was sleeping...

I hope any/all of mine shed sometime soon. I've had them for a little over a month. Shouldn't they have shed by now? Sorry for the OT-ness.
 
Thanks! If your babies haven't shed yet, I wouldn't worry. My anery, Ninja, doesn't shed strictly monthly like August does (who I've found sheds every 26-27 days). Ninja takes a bit longer, his last shed was on January 30, and he's only going into blue now! :D
 
I noticed on Ninja's thread you said he was getting a blue belly. Does that happen before their eyes turn milky? Because today when I was handling Raider, I noticed his belly was really dulled out and milky looking. But his eyes are as clear as ever.
 
Sounds like Raider is heading for a shed! That's how I first learned that my snakes were going into shed, their bellies will turn milky and dulled before anything else. In a couple days you'll start noticing a difference ;) First sheds are so exciting!
 
Oh I know I have been wondering when the first shed was going to take place!
Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I'll keep an eye on him so I can witness my first "blue phase" and get some pictures of his milky-ness!

So...
I brought my snakes home with me this weekend so I didn't have to worryabout hauling them home next weekend for spring break...and you know how raider is about to shed...yeah well I kinda forgot both of my cameras down in Lubbock in my dorm...so I'm not gonna be able to share pictures of raider after her shed...I'm so bummed! But she is all cleared up now so she should be shedding any time now...right???
 
OMG ANDREW!!! Hahaha how could you forget the CAMERA?? :D:D You officially owe us a huge picture thread of Raider when you get back and are able to take pictures. But yes, if she has cleared already, she'll be shedding any time soon :) Just keep an extra eye out ;) I gave Ninja a little soaking today, I think Ninja should be shedding tomorrow... We shall see, and I'll definitely keep you guys posted with pics!
 
Mini Update!

August finally shed today, and in one nice long piece! She looks great too. I will post some pics of before and after later ;)
 
I can't post 'em right now because I'm on the laptop and this stupid machine doesn't support my camera :( But I will try to get on the desktop sometime tonight to get those up for ya :p
