Hey all, I posted some of these pics in my intro thread, but thought I should start a picture thread for my new girl. :)

This is Avatre, she's my first corn snake, and I'm already thoroughly in love with her after just 1 week! :)

Here she is the day I got her. I snapped a quick pic just before I put her into her new home. :)

I finally got to take her out for the first time last night, it was SO hard waiting! She was so good for me, she's such a sweet little girl. :) She actually took a drink of water after I put her back while still clinging to my fingers, so cute! <3

Thank you, and, I think I agree! :) I just love her colours, can't stop watching her when she's out, lol. I'm at work right now, and I can't wait to get home to play with her some more! 2 more hours, sigh.
 
I feed yesterday, so i can't play with them, but when next year one little amel is in my clutch,i will hold them !! :)
 
So yesterday was Avatre's 2 month birthday, and coincidentally, it was also feeding day, which made her a very happy girl, lol. I managed to snap a few pictures this time, so here they are. :)

She's such a sweetheart, I had her out on Sunday, and she crawled up my sleeve and fell asleep in there! I had to wake her up to put her back in her viv, and she was NOT impressed! Slithered right into her hide and stuck her head out to look at me, and I swear, if a snake could glare, she was glaring at me, lol!
 
Aww, she's so cute! Mine likes sleeves, too, but it's hard to get her out.
Glaring. I can kinda imagine that. :p
 
Thanks! Got couple of new pics last night, she was so cute, just curled up in my hand for almost 5 minutes before deciding to explore. :) Once she did, she made a bee-line for my sleeve again, LOL!

Thank you! I'm quite thoroughly smitten with her, lol. Already thinking about getting a second snake in a year or two, lol
 
LOL, well, I won't have the budget for a second set up for a while, so it'll probably be close to a year before I can get a second, at least until Avatre gets large enough to move out of the 10 gallon and into her permanent home, lol
 
I did a little photo shoot with Avatre over the weekend. I really want to get out my DSLR and get some really good shots, but it just wasn't bright enough in my living room, since it was so cloudy out, so I had to stick with my iPhone for these.

Check out the small markings down her side, she has markings in the shape of hearts! I'm so going to have to get pictures that show them off better! Hope they stay that way as she grows! :)

I weighed her on the weekend, she's a whole 18 grams, lol. Just a wee little thing! :)
 
I woke up yesterday morning to find Avatre shed overnight! :) Only took her 5 days to shed from the time she went into blue, which is crazy fast! It usually takes 7 - 10 days, she didn't even have to miss a single feeding, lol. Took a few pictures this morning before feeding her, and here they are! :)

It's hard to show it in pictures, but her reds and oranges have DEFINITELY intensified! :)

Sh's gorgeous - the same sort of colourings as my new (and first) male, Leonidas - I think he's going into shed but not 100% (no blue/cloudy eyes but stupidly dull at the moment)

Unfortunately my photo skills are rubbish and blurry and this is the only semi-full length shot I could get but all he needs is a lack of smudge ;)
