Awesome tongue shot!

Lolo

Surrounded by snakes
If this were anything other than a snake forum, that thread title could seem VERY dirty... LOL. :D

Anyway, I got this really cool "tongue shot" of Scout, my reverse Aztec Okeetee, and thought I'd share it with you all... also got some other nice photos, using my new little Canon Elph. FYI, this is a very decent camera, if you're looking for something cheap!

(sorry about the mess in the background, but the corns live in my laundry room)

And Betty the Miami brat...

No, not poop... just Carefresh, which Betty has a habit of dumping into her water dish! And yes, colored Carefreshh would be better, but it's like twice the price.

P.S. I use Carefresh & newspaper only as bedding, since I'm allergic to Aspen.

Oh, and before somebody else gets snarky, that Carefresh in the water dish was precisely why I opened her tub (to clean it)... although I had to wait until she moved, since that's a snake who'll BITE if ya get too close.

Great shots!! I'm especially partial to miss crankypants Betty. :) I love feisty snakes!

Seriously, though, I think I love Betty more than I admit... somebody offered to buy her yesterday, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it!

Love the pics... Especially the first tongue shot. I wish mine would let me get a tongue pic.. lol

Thank you! Sometimes you have to take 100 pictures to get that one "money shot" - like the yawn after a meal, or the perfect tongue flick. :)
