Babies gone arboreal

Wow, he is gorgeous!! What a beautiful snake - and great pictures, too. I like that yellow bit, it contrasts nicely with his colours. And the zigzag bit too, I can see why its called aztec, its like the aztec art. You have some lovely snakes :)

I was amazed what happened yesterday with my kids, for the first time.

Well, first of all there was a curious moment when Re came out from hiding and I'd swear she stopped and was looking intently at me/ the computer - on which I was looking up cornsnake morphs. I only just read some thread here, joking about whether they can watch tv :) the consensus seemed to be that they have colour vision and can recognize the movement on the screen, so...

God, cant they just give you such intense, direct eye contact- or atleast it so seems to be. They really seem like little persons in a funny long this body. Hope its not an insult to them to compare them to "persons" :)

But what more, it was the first day since I had them, that they have gone friendlier to me and much less frightened. Actually, it was quite a story and I will write a proper post about it :)
