babies not eating. advice?

tsuki

snake charmer
i hatched a clutch from 7/7 to 7/9 and i have 9 babies that are not eating yet. how long can they go until i should consider force feeding. or should i try any tricks to get them to eat?
i rubbed some of the babies on my pacman frog to try and scent them with frog, and i also used baby ducks to try and scent them as well. they didnt take. the other7 snakes are eating like mad and have been rehomed...
any advice with the others would be awesome
thanks

Try live. It's been a while for a baby to not eat. Also try cutting a rat pink. Try scenting prey with tuna juice, chicken broth, and washing it (and rinsing it) well. You can also take water away for a day or two and then offer a soaking wet pinky.

ive tried braining as well as live feeders too... i'm kinda stumped. i know that they all dont make it in the wild but 9 out of 16 seems a little much to me.

after they refused first feeding of FT i used nothing but live to entice them into eating. no luck. then it was live brained, live scented, live rinsed then scented... after this weekend i am going to attempt force feeding. hopefully i only have to do it once for them to take to eating on their own.

With force feeding, I recommend blending a few pinkies and feeding the liquid through a syringe. Be easier and less stressful.
