I am naughty! I just gave Kathy Love a deposit for a 07 Female Hatchling Blizzard. I purchased food and UTH/Thermostat for her. :) My girlfriend is going to kill me!

The whole setup is going to cost me $299.28 (and maybe a girlfriend). I might make a viv stand. But ill around first and see how much they are. (Anther ~$30-50).

I will be picking up anther 40 gal Critter cage for her either tomorrow or the next day.

I plan on breeding Mr. Icky and the Blizzard someday. (For fun.) :crazy02:

$300??? wow that is kinda pricey for cage for a hatchling. I would just go out and get a 10 gallon critter cage. Heck, I keep mine in those reptile cages from Walmart for under $10. A water dish ( a hamster/gerbil food dish) and hide for about $8 and you have a nice setup for under $20 bucks. Now as your snake gets bigger than I would spend the money, but if you can cut corners you can have a happy little snake and a happy girlfriend. If you need to use the UTH (its summer I doubt your place will get under 70.) then pick up a 10 gallon Critter cage. It will cost more but probably around $20 - $30. But it is secure for your pet.
So most of my snakes are either in those cages from Walmart, in my Rack System or in Critter cages. Heck, I only use the 40 gallon Critter cages only for my snakes that are over 4 feet, but now they are being used as Bearded Dragon setups. :grin01:

I think they mean $300 is EVERYTHING they need... not just the tank on its own... or at least that's how I read it.

Congratulations on your new snake! Can't wait to see pics when she arrives

That 300 Includes 40 gallon critter cage (74 dollars.) UTH = $20, Thermostat = $22, Thermometer/hydrometer =15 dollars, 65 Dollars worth of food, a large 8 dollar hide for Mr. Icky and Ill give the the two smaller hides from his cage to the new blizzard and use toilet paper tubes for more hides.

And the snake for $125 shipped.
