Hi GhostNate and welcome to the wonderful world of corn snakes. I'm so sorry you got off to a bad start with your first one dying so quickly. It seems likely it was already sick when you got it, but I suggest you read as much as you can about corn snake care to be sure you didn't do anything wrong and to be sure you can help your new one as much as possible.

First of all, I suggest you start your own thread. That makes it a little easier to get advice that is targeted specifically at the issues you are having.

If you can take this snake back and get your money back and get one from a more reliable source, I'd recommend you do that. But if you can't or just don't want to, then the top priority is addressing the fact that your snake has regurged. This can be very dangerous for snakes and should be taken very seriously. The first step is to leave your snake alone for 10 days. Just make sure it has the proper temps and clean water and an appropriate enclosure, and leave it alone. During those 10 days, read up on corn snake care and also how to handle regurges. Here is a start on that:

As far as temps, you can convert C to F or vice versa rather easily by googling something like "celsius to fahrenheit conversion" and just plugging in the appropriate numbers. I checked, and your 28C is roughly equal to 82F, which is a reasonable temperature for a corn snake. Is that the hot spot? Or the ambient temperature?

Good luck and keep us posted! Lots of people on this forum who will be very helpful, so feel free to ask questions.

Thanks so much and they don't do refunds on snakes here so I have to keep him and the 28C is the hot spot :)

Look near the upper left corner of this page, and you'll see a line that says "CornSnakes.com Forums > The CornSnake Forums > Behavior". Click on the part that says "CornSnakes.com Forums" and that will bring you to the main index. From there, pick which sub-forum you want to post in (or just browse...). Most of what you've posted would fit in either the "Husbandry and Basic Care" or "Health Issues/Feeding Problems" areas. Click on the one you want, then on the left side, above the list of thread titles, you'll see a button that says "New Thread". Click that, and there ya go!

GhostNate is using Tapatalk so it's a little different kc.
This is how it works on my Android phone, hopefully it's similar on the iphone.

Click "CornSnakes Forum" at the top
That should pull open a side bar that has a list of options, choose "Browse"
On the next screen choose "The Cornsnake Forums"
All the sub-forum options should be visible now, choose one.
At the top is a pencil icon, click that and type a subject, then type whatever you need to ask or say in the body.

Hope that helps :)
