Hi Everybody,

My baby corn snake is coming today and I wasnt expecting it until next week which would be great him coming early if I had his cage. Anyway I didnt plan on getting his cage and everything else until tonight. Is he going to be ok in the container he was shipped in until I get his cage and get everything set up? Or should I put him in something else until I get everything set up? Any advice would be great as I am in a panic now, I don't want anything to happen to him. Thanks.

Teri

He should be fine.

Just keep him at a steady temperature in the mid to high 20's (celcius) and make sure he has water and a hide of some sort...as simple as a toilet paper tube and he'll be fine for a few days.

That would be 82-86 degress F if you're from here, but probably keeping it at 80 or so will work great. If you have a rubbermaid container with a lid, you can put holes in that and use that for now.
