Baby mice photo

I haven't posted any photos of my mice yet, so here is one of a nice size litter. There are 13 or 14 in that nest. I know they all came from 1 female because she has the enclosure all to herself

Should I be able to tell the males from the females at this age / size? I know what to look for, they just all look the same to me at this size. :shrugs:

Good breeders are able to tell right away if certain pinks are male or female, but you should be able to tell within a few days. Nipples will begin to form on females and the spacing between the anus and penis will increase on males. Also, you should be able to make out the testicles. Otherwise, good looking pinks... I want to breed my own but I am too lazy. Haha

since the ears are unfolded, the females nipples should already be faintly visible if you look closely good luck

Deffinatly look for nipples now. I found it a little easier once their fur started to come in, because there would be a little pink spot where there was missing fur.
