Baby Snow (Marzipan) 7 pics

Marzipan's Mom
I was snapping some pictures of Marzipan when s/he started behaving very strangely. S/he was pushing his/her nose really hard agaisnt my palm and fingers then huffing a little before doing it again. I was beginning to get worried when the skin on his.her head started peeling back! S/e was using me to start his/her shed! It was amazing! I put him/her back in his/her viv to finish the job after s/he took a huge crap on my leg. Haha!

Anyway, without further ado: Pictures!

Before shed:
Now that I look at these pictures, Marz did look a little ashy. I wouldn't have guessed at all that this little one was about to shed!

"This is my people-handy-hidey-hole! Not yours! Go away!"

Shed head! Look at those perfect eyecaps! I'm so proud of my baby. This piece fell off, but the rest of the shed came off in one piece, all the way to the tail tip.

After shed:
"Please leave me alone now, Mom! Sheesh!"

And so I did. Marzipan is resting now. I'll probably leave him/her alone for a day or two. Shedding looks like a tough job! Brings a whole new meaning to "crawling out of your skin."
