Hey guys,

Long time no talk. It's Jason, haven't posted in probably over four months or so. Not because I fell out here, just been busy planning my wedding with my fiance and family. Between that, fishing, hanging out with friends, and work I kinda lost base with people here. I missed you guys, glad to be back and hope I can contribute the same way I did before. I MISSED YOU GUYS!!! Now let's see how many people actually remember me.

I kept my addiction under control since I left though. Still only my one beautiful cornsnake Raydin. I will post pictures tonight. Still unsexed but the amel has definately come out now at nine months old. He turns one on Sept 25 (his hatch date). Can't wait to get pics on here to show you guys. You can check out my old posts if you want old pics. I'll have to do the whole progression thing minus the four months of no photos lol. Hope you guys have been well. I'll be around the forum today getting back into things, see you guys around.

That's weird, I just saw your name in a thread this morning, I think Pissed Off Cornsnake, and was wondering where you'd been...How strange! I was thinking about the people at the beginning of the thread three years ago were all gone, except Drizz, but then familiar names appeared this spring. You were in there. Or maybe it was Boys/Girls. Anyway, hi.

Hey Nanci, see you changed your pic. Nice to see your still around. How's Maizey doing? Haven't seen pics of her in a while. Though I'm sure you've been posting. I do remember the pics of the older eastern hog "addy" you have. Yup, I'll be around! I'm glad I still see familiar names on here like you and Roy and a few others. Looks like a lot of newbies. I got a lot of people to meet it looks like.

Welcome back Jason. Good to see you around again. I look forward to seeing what Raydin looks like now! So when is the big day for you?

Haha, I've lived here and Dale City for about 13 years now. I don't mind it, but I do not enjoy the "fast paced life style" and the commuttes and driving. I live off route 1 in the misty ridge apartments by the nissan dealership. Near the intersection of dale blvd and route 1.

Only good part about the area is lots to do. No matter what you like to do you can pretty much find it here. Eventually thinking about moving south to the tappahanock area in a couple of years after my fiance finishes schooling here.

Maizey has been a handful since January...To recap:

Regurged in January, thought it was due to a huge mouse. Did regurge protocol, seemed fine, then she started regurging every couple feedings. Steadily lost weight. Took her to the vet for deworming. Again, seemed fine, but then regurged. Didn't have parasites, vet said it would cost $$$$$ to look for another cause, like diverticulosis or enlarged heart, which we probably couldn't do anything about anyway. He suggested changing her to even smaller meals, at shorter intervals. So now she's had three 10 gram hoppers at 5, 5, 4 days, all with Nutribac on their tails, and is ok, but losing weight. It's hard to resist feeding a couple mice at a time, but I want the regurging to be over and done with. She looks good, though- hasn't lost enough weight to worry me. Oh, she is actually a he. Too hard to change my habits now, though.

Addy is fine- also dewormed (she was WC) Still not eating voluntarily.

Two newbies- tiny Lila the lavender, who I got on Easter because her prevous owner had been told Lila was small for a 2005, but when she arrived, she was TINY. When I got her, age 1.5, she was 24 grams. Now she's 46. Oh, previous owner couldn't wait for her to grow up- breeding plans, etc. She's nearly as sweet as Choco.

Big Jake the Florida King- he's so incredible! 49", over 800 grams. Won't eat rats. Has invisible musk that smells like green peppers. He's just my big old snakey. I always feel like I'm imposing on him if I get him out, but he's never threatened to bite. He's an excellent rattler, though.

Inez, growing like a weed. Musks every time. Hates being out.

Zee- on the springtime feeding strike.

Choco- knows seven tricks now. Still my favorite.

I've been working on a tortoise enclosure for nearly a month- see it in General Chit Chat.

That's all the news from me!

Ha! I live close to you. Crazy. Never thought that would happen. You work at NVCC? I hate the traffic here. I can't stand it, I'm going south the first chance I get. I've been here all my life and yeah it's a great place. I mean DC is 25ish mins, on a good day, away and there is the mall. Lots of things to do once you get a car. Oh and Checkers. MMMMM

Gonna be the lucky day of October 13, 2007. Having the wedding down in Warsaw Virginia off the Rappahanock River. Her parents have been kind enough to help with almost all the funds and give us a great wedding at Belle Mount Vineyards. Wedding and reception dinner will be there. Honeymoon is going to be in Ohio...

Yes... Ohio lol. My fiancee is a tom boy. Loves snakes, football, music, etc. So we are going to the rock and roll hall of fame and nfl hall of fame while staying at a five star hotel in cleveland. Visiting a beer brewery up there one of those days. Then the remaining three days of honeymoon will be spent at a resort at Lake Atwood in Ohio, where we will take dinner cruises, have massages, fish, do nature trails, and relax on the water. Needless to say I'm getting excited, I need a vacation!

Yea I work at the testing center in annandale. Not to be confused with the woodbridge campus.

Sorry to here about Maizey Nancy, glad she's not losing enough weight to scare ya though. Seems like you got a couple of kids there, not snakes lol. Geez! Well at least your a good owner and deal with it and don't give up at the first sign of trouble, or not follow up with the problems. I was once interested in setting up a turtle enclosure but kinda decided against it with the one bedroom apartment and all. Maybe in the future. Glad everyone is doing well. Nice to meet you NFS we will have to do a show together sometime.

Ok guys, I'm sorry for the false alarm... but now I REALLY AM BACK. I promise to contribute as much as I can. Wedding planning got really hectic... and I have been bass fishing WAY TOO MUCH lol. New hobby I got into over the summer. You guys know how it is, it was like when I first got Raydin as a pet. I was glued to it. Anyway, new pics. Raydin turned one year old today!!! Let's give him a round of applause???

Here are the recent pics

Raydin gave me a bit of a tude' in the second pic. Hope you gusy enjoy! See you around in the forums. Again I apologize for the absence. I've missed you guys.
