wow- those are cute enough to win me over in the hairy/hairless debate. . .

. . . the hairless rats we have are kinda frightening looking. . . they have the slack skin and they stay kinda filthy all the time- the mice's ears make them look kinda like an anime carachter or something- way cuter than the rats!

Nice pics- thanks for sharing!

Awwww! They're so cute! I have a hairless rat and she is the ugliest/cutest thing ever. She's so wrinkly, she has to bunch up her skin with her paws to groom herself. She's not the best mom, but I keep her around more as a pet.

Ah, pinky and the brain. I used to love that cartoon. Anyone know if it still shows on any channel?

Them little mice remind me of the double rex rat I have.. Ugly as sin but an animal that has people asking questions.. When my old double rex rattie was well I would take her with me from time to time and the kids would get freaked out.. Whats wrong with her etc etc etc..

I have not seen that type of mouse in my parts of the US, but I can't say I have looked to hard eithier. Nice critters and intresting critters.. Oh, might they be dumbo's with those seemingly over sized ears?

Regards.. Tim

too cute

those are some gorgeous mice :) I love the combo of big ears with the nearly furless coat.

I have a few fuzzies myself. I think they are precious. I only have 1 breeding mom (I gave her brother to another breeder to work with this gene) and I bred her with a fuzzy carrier male, so I have lots of cute little near-hairless mice coming up. They are so much cuter than totally hairless mice, and a lot healthier. I bought some true hairless mice a few years ago and had nothing but problems with them, so I stopped breeding the true hairless mice. It is nice to have a less extreme alternative for the people who do like hairless critters, but don't like the problems associated with them.
