bath, poop, rinse, dry, handle...works everytime!

it happens everytime in this order with me and my corn arun. its great, i take her out, and put her into a prepared bath. not very deep though, my tub has an incline to the drain like most tubs do so its as if there is a shore she can go onto if she gets tired of swimming around.

anyway, after between 3-15 minutes of just chillin in the tub she always poops for me...then i take her out quickly after she is done, which she waits for now, so she doesent have to risk getting dirty in her own stuff! then i clean out the tub real quick, fill it again and let her swim for like 30 seconds just to rinse off, then i take her out and let her crawl through a soft towl to dry her off..

works everytime and i still have yet to be pooped on....lol :sidestep:

just wondering if anyone else had a similiar method to go by before handling your corns... :shrugs:

I dont do it with the corns, but I have had similer experiances when bathing my 10 foot burm in the tub; I can assure you its not quite as pleasent.

The warm water dissolves the fecal matter, and the whole bath becomes a dark sludge with digested rabbit fur and sediment at the bottom. Its then a fight to get the dirty 10 foot snake out while trying to stay someone clean, drainging the tub, unclogging the drain several times, trying to wipe most of the muck thats left out, rinsing and filling it up again to clean the snake off, drain again and put the snake away, take out the bleach and wash the entire tub out, and the bathroom floor, then rinse everything down very well. By the end of it I need to wash my clothes and take a shower.

hahaha dude...

i had no idea. isnt there a better method for you?

let him crap in a big moving box with a garbage bag on the outside of it maybe?

In the summer he has his own kiddie pool outside, but during the winter he's stuck in the bathtub. I usually can time it to where he wont, but sometimes he needs a good soak and I cant wait for him to poop first.

I usually just take a chance on it. BUt that hasn't worked out so well. I have been pooped on twice in the last two weeks.
