Bath time!

Hey yall! My names Whitney and Im new to the site. Anyhow, I know you all had just coverd a thread on bathing but I had an extra question. I am worried about my corn getting too tired in the bath and myself not recognizing it At least until I am familiar with his body language, I was wondering if adding a half round bark hide into the water (so that he has a little island to rest on) would defeat the purpose of him swimming? Would he be so lazy as to find the island before swimming a lap or two, sort of speak? Help?

Your island plan is very good. It's a clever idea to have a resting point in the bath and one that has been mentioned before. If you're worried about the snake begin lazy then put the 'island' in the bath after the animal's done a couple of laps or something.

My corn never gets a chance to get tired, she swims for a couple of minutes but then, just about everytime, craps and I have to take her out!

As far as getting tired, corns float very well. It would take more effort to submerge! When she's tired, she'll just lay on top of the water.
