Bathing snakes

Water temp?

I have a question on top of this... when bathing your snakes, what temp of water do they need? I know that birds won't bathe unless the water is as cold as it can go, but would that shock an animal like a snake??

Thanks!

Re-read Wade's post. It was the most sensible one in this thread...

IF I have to soak a snake the water temperature is barely tepid. Anything warmer will be quite warm to the snake. I've never soaked a cornsnake. It seems to be quite stressful for them the one time I tried it out to see if any of them liked it. I've soaked my green tree python before after she prolapsed and if she looks like she's full of poop. She doesn't seem to mind it, and will sit in the sink with her head resting on the side without moving. The corns on the other hand, will thrash about and make every attempt to get out of the sink.
