Rich has posted for this to be an English only forum. I would advise you to only use English or you may be banned from the forum.

Just a suggestion...

Try using private messages instead of holding a chat in a thread
Glad you guys found each other though

seriously

If I saw a question posted...a serious question....and I wanted to answer in that persons native language I couldn't?????

Rich should put up a rules/FAQ whatever. Because I am getting more confused by the day as to what we are allowed to say here or not. :)

I don't think he's saying straight out that you CAN'T, but you really shouldn't.
However, you could PM that person in whatever language you like. Or you could email them.
I understand that people frequent these forums whose first language is not English. But the main language here is English and I think it would become confusing and rather annoying for non-speakers of a particular languages if people were to post in all different tongues. And you won't get as many answers if you don't post in English.
So let's stick to English, at least in our posts.

Oh yeah

I understand that part. :)

But *is* there a rules page or FAQ for this forum? I have looked and I haven't seen one, but it would be useful.

bmm

I don't think so..
I think some people were working on one, but it's more like a corn snake care sheet rather than a set of rules.
I just follow the basic no spamming, no personal attacks, don't be rude, don't be stupid etc. rules of other message boards I go to. :p

I also...

think it wouldn't be a big deal IF they would also translate to English. But I think that would cause too much confusion. I think a FAQ/rules section would be helpful, too.

I think I remember Rich posting a thread saying we had to stick to english in the forum. I guess it would only be polite to seeing as the majority of the people here only speak english. The private chat thing is a good idea though! :)

ps...just found where Rich posted that we have to do it in English...in photo gallery in thread 'This IS a Photo Gallery' started by RichZ

it started because in a thread someone was being disrespectful and rude, name calling and stuff in another language.

wow only one person replied to this question, thats pretty sad
while everyone is debating on what language to use there is someone waiting for an answer.

I put my corn in about 3 inches of water in the tub.make sure it is not to hot though.I make his water cool to my touch which will be plenty warm enough for your snake.Thats all I do let him swim around for awhile about 10 min. or until he poo's

hope that answers your question

My corn hates taking a bath. He wiggles and squirms any thing to get out. On the other hand my burmese and red tail love it. I just put a few inches of warm water and they just soak in it.

I tried to give Rio a bath today and he was kinda fussy. First, i put him in and he floated in circles for a few minnutes, and then he swam really really fast, found a corner of the sweaterbox, and got out. I am trying to make him poop since its been four days since his first meal with me but either he used up all of it, or it will come out after then next feeding. I'm not to worried about one fuzzy because he probably just got a lot of the nutrients and there is nothing left. Maybe in a few days I will give him a colder bath cuz the one I gave him today was warm to touch but maybe a little to hot for him. Any temperatures you guys have great luck with?
