hello people, ok i have been wondering about this for a while now. Ruby lives in my bedroom and on a night time when it starts to get dark i need to putthe light on, i usually put my small lamp on as i feel horrible for putting the big light on as she may get confused?!?!?! can this be the case? will putting a light on confuse her

would appreciate some answers on what everyone thinks

I doubt it will cause any problems. I turn the lights on all the time in my snake room, and when guests stay, the lights are on more than when I'm just here. My amel is in the livingroom where the lights stay on most of the time and he's doing fine. I worry more about lights with my Green tree pythons than the corns as they are purely nocturnal.

But of course! They get pictures taken of them on a regular basis. This is Tempest my Sorong female. Sweet as they come. I adore her!

My snakes moves around at night, regardless of whether or not my bedroom light is on. Don't worry about it. :)
 
hey isobel, lol she's my little baby, she is about 9 months old now. do you have any piccies of your snakes?
 
I am by no means even a beginer at GTPs but i have read some stuff and they get around 4-6 ft i think. they are not heavily bodied though.

She is gorgeous, yes i've got some pic's but i have to get my husband to load them onto the pc for me (i'm no good with technical stuff)

My female is called Ruby too, she is gorgeous too lol

i will post some this weekend :)

I've heard that GTP are better suited for more experience snake owners sinc ehtye tend to be more wild". Is this true, or is the GTP just in need of special behavioral care? I hear that they are harder to physically handle because they can be moody...
