B'elanna Progression Thread

Here's my new scale baby, named for B'Elanna Torres from Star Trek: Voyager! I got her last week at Repticon in Columbia, SC from Corn Moon Corn Snakes. She's a normal, with possible hets for cinder and bloodred.

Her all coiled up:

Her being shy, excellent shot of her pattern:

Here are her ventral scales:

I fed her last night; she's kind of a shy eater. As she gets used to me, that should go away. She weighed in at 14.8g.

I could just be partial because Plisskin looks almost identical, but I like her! I've got a thing for baby normals though, the white and browns look really good before changing. I think they look more traditional snakey like.

You can't really see it in the picture, but she has a lot of crimson coloring on her belly, mixed in with the checkers. She's really a beauty!

I love the look of the babies, too, but I'm looking forward to her as an adult. Normals are really pretty, to me!

I think normals are gorgeous! I love how different they turn out to be as adults! yrs is such a cutie! I have two myself and they don't look anything alike! Congrats on yr new addition!

Well, blow me down. We got B'elanna at the Repticon, and once we got her home, we left her to herself for the first five days. Got her out and fed her a pinky, noting she was a bit skittish. Yesterday evening went to check on her, two days after the feed, and discovered that there was a shed in there! Whodathunkit?

Cool! Have you started a progression thread on him yet, or any pics? I probably saw him at their table, but I was looking for a normal, so I was pretty much focused in that direction.

I have not yet, he was in blue and just shed out. Odds are I will take a photo of him soon. He's got such a nice rich color.

Thanks, Paul and everyone! Since I started with the Star Trek theme on my first snake - Riker - I thought I'd carry it on. Started looking at character names in Star Trek, and almost went for "Seven of Nine" when I saw "B'elanna" - and knew it had to be her name!

Wow the colors after her shed really pop. She is a beauty. I too love the name as I think would all Trekies.
