B'elanna Progression Thread

Maine Coons are the best cats. Max, our MC died a few years ago and my daughter still holds him as the gold standard of cats. They are just big, dumb love sponges. Nicole used to dress him in her doll clothes and strap him in a stroller and wheel him around the neighborhood and he loved it.

My favorite was a little tuxedo I named Tina. I rescued her from a family that crated all their animals every night. :eek1: She never went into a crate again unless she was going to the vet. She lurved me and I her for 14 years. She got sick and died in 2009.

Funny, I just adopted a very sweet tuxedo cat from the SPCA about a year ago. After my daughters moved out and took their college cats with them I was missing the little fuzz balls so I got Sammy. He is the perfect cat for me. He is very affectionate and follows me like a shadow. He loves to sit on my lap and sleeps in my bed with me along with my dog Hope (Mazie sleeps in her terrarium). Sammy is fascinated by Mazie and watches her in the cage like it is his personal TV. I have to be so careful when I am holding Mazie that Sammy doesn't take a swipe at her. That slow rythemic movement is like catnip to kitties.

B'elanna shed yesterday, and I fed her directly after. In a couple of days I'll get some new pictures up!

Meanwhile... little brat was VERY hungry! I held a pinky up for her and she struck at it three times... the first two she got my finger! That second time, I could feel those little needle teeth in my skin! Not so much an OW at such a young age as "what the heck, snake? Can't you aim any better than that??"

Here's some post-shed pictures from 2013-05-01:

She weighed in at 23g before I fed her, after her shed, and she is more than 40cm long.

She is beatifl, i am still waiting for Sassy's first shed, i have had her for 4 weeks now so i am hoping it will be soon. I can't wait to see what color she will be. Angel my Amel tends to go darker with each shed. :):):)

Love the post shed pics and especially that tree shot. Can't wait til' ours is old enough to take out for yard shots.

Normals sure do look awesome in progression like this. Very pretty snake Becca.

When I got her in March, she weighed almost 15g. She's now up to 45g. Unless your babies are freshly hatched, go ahead and take them out to photograph them!

I'm loving making the photographic journey of her growing / shedding. I think the colors are just spectacular!

B'elanna has shed again, *finally*! She went blue on August 25th, and finally shed on September 4th. She'd been dull and semi-blue since about the 20th, so she hasn't eaten all that time!
