Best way to do winter transport?

I'm looking at getting a snake when I go south in december, the problem I'm facing is that I'm driving home (1500km) and it will take two days. in the mean time I don't want to risk my snake freezing to death or getting baked by a temprature that's to high. I'll be staying in a hotel on the way. any suggestions as to how to best meet a snake's needs while on the road?

I think the best way is to have the snake always with you when you will make the trip. Let it in the car when it is hot and you are driving, but bring it inside with you if you stop to get a snack or at the hotel.

Good trip to you!

if you are worried about it getting to cold for the snake i find that placing one of those oxygen activated hand/foot warmers under the container. You can usually find them at the outdoors section of target or a camping supply.

I think I'll probly combine both of those suggestions. though, only put the warmer under part of the container, that way there's a bit of a gradient.

yes definitly only under part of the container. Be careful though and maybe insulate it because they can get hot enough to really make you sweat.
