Best way to transport

Hey folks

I'm picking up my first corn tomorrow.
It's being given to me by a friend of a friend who says it is over 10 years old.

it's at least a 4-5 hour trip. How best to carry it?
It's coming with a 10g. Would taking all furniture out of the tank and placing it on the floor be sufficient?
I also have some medium to large critter keepers that I transport my leopard geckos in... would that be better.
Finally, would it be an idea to take a pillowcase along for extra safety??

Thanks!

Sorry I realize this is a day late, but only found it now. I would have told you the smallest carrier you have that the snake fits it, a little substrate on the bottom, make sure container has lots of holes, the lightly cover the container with a owel or something so it is dark and the snake can feel like it is in a small, dark, safe hiding spot(less stressful).

Hope you got your new buddy home ok...congrats and welcome to the forum.:wavey:
