Beware of Aquarium Rocks

stragen

~~~~~~~~
They cause un-necessary stress..................for owners! :realhot:
One of my housemates Corns went missing today for a good two hours or so. They turned their room inside out trying to find him and were getting really worried (looking at holes in the floorboards / vents etc) when someone picked up the rock to move it, and it was suspiciously heavy......
He had burrowed underneath the substrate and then up into the HOLLOW aquarium rock. Its a big one that looks like a multilayer cliff so he could really get up in there and hide!
Now its just a waiting game until he gets hungry and comes out - then that hole is getting plugged with plaster of Paris!
I've seen a couple of posts about people who have had similar problems, so the moral of the story is....... Check anything you put in the Viv for holes! :idea:
