its not shaped weirdly but when they breed, the males slowly wave their tales in the air while connected to the female. The males do seem to be pinker than the females with these type A BRd's. I have no idea why. I have seen so much debate about this its not even funny. If I get a female out of the clutch that looks anything like the male, of course she will stay back. Thanks.

I've got a pair of those from the guy who Walter got his from (yours). The males do look a lot better than the females. I picked the best of the clutch from the breeder (Brad McDonald) these guys had white sides but as they mature the male is pinkish grey and the female looks like yours.
Still pretty and great contrast.

The pink coloration in males is a "Something" + Anery A thing that seems to be enhanced by hypomelanism.
I've spoken to Don Soderberg about it and he has said that in his Coral (Hypo) Snows, Ghosts, and Bloodred Anery A's the males usually have a bunch of pink whereas the females have little to no pink coloration (aside from the coral snows which always have pink).
