Blue period and not shed

In a word, no - at least I've never ever heard of this happening. But it may be some time (a week to ten days) after the blue phase appears to have gone, before the snake actually sheds.

The old skin might get stuck on if the humidity is very low indeed, but you're more likely to see a partial shed in that situation. The surface of the skin would probably be wrinkled/ scrappy. It certainly should be obvious that there's a problem.

As Tracee says, when they go blue and then go back to their normal colour, this is just the standard process before shedding.

My 5 foot corn, was blue for over a week , actually almost 10 days, then all of a sudden he shed completely, and in one pice, it was awesome!

i dont want to scare you but i have heard of snakes doing this and not shedding. it seems to be a problem with their thyroid glands and requires treatment. its where the snake is unable to produce any or enough of the oil under the skin. im sure its not the case in this instance, they go blue and their eyes wil clear up then it can take a few days before they choose to lose the skin. mine has been in slough for 7 days now.

it is possible if the humidity is very very low, but its most likely that she has entered the last stage of blue. They clear up a few days before they shed usually.
