Boaphile?

Has anybody here used a Boaphile viv to house a corn...if so which model and size would you recommend?

Thanks!

I wouldn't buy from them again.
I have the 6 tub rhino rack (can also have 12 smaller tubs if side by side) and had some escapes. Now I know to put lids on the small tubs but with the bigger ones I have to wedge cardboard under them to make sure the gap isn't too big, since they won't slide in with a lid on them.
Other than that I've heard their customer service is not great.
When I can afford another one I'm buying one from Nature's Spirit or maybe try to build my own :)

We use the 5 drawer sideways sweater/blanket box racks.

Hatchlings and juveniles are housed in the sweater boxes (two per level), adults in the blanket boxes (turned sideways, one per level).

Previous models had a larger gap between the bins and would require a lid if housing a hatchling/small juvenile. But newer models have closed that gap even further and work better. If in doubt, you can always leave a lid on anyway (recommended). Ours slide in with lids just fine. It's a tight fit, but that's how it should be anyway.

Check our Gallery link and browse to the Cages section.

If you're considering a larger set up for a corn, I would probably go with a Townhouse style, which would be more than sufficient for 1 corn in each townhouse (left and right side of the unit). Or if you so chose, you could remove the divider and have one 48" unit. But I think that would be a bit of overkill, unless you're really into showing off the space. Just remember that the more ornate you make your display; the more individual items, as well as surface area, that you have to clean on a regular basis.

1.5x heat in the center of one of these units with a good thermostat should be adequate (so you could heat two seperate townhouses if needed).
