I'm so excited... he scared the crap outta me first, lol. I was searching through his cage for him, turning over every hide three times, digging through the aspen 7 times (which is where I found a couple poops and a fresh shed) before I found him in his humid hide, curled up asleep... It looks PERFECT and I put it in a little baggie so I could show my parents/friends and remember how little he was when he gets big... I might take some quality pictures after he calms down (he's still a little antsy), but his color has REALLY deepened. Some of you may remember the confusion about his morph... well there's no doubt he isn't an anery now! He has some BEAUTIFUL rust colored saddles, and the yellow-orange that was originally only near his neck has now spread down to his main body. He's so gorgeous! Now I just need to get Mouse to eat and I will be able to stop fussing over these two for a bit... I admit I've been a bit of a helicopter mom ;)

That's awesome! I remember the first time mine shed, and I was there to watch it. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. My son still saves every single one of them. Congrats!

Unfortunately I didn't get to see him shed, but I'm sure considering the long life he has ahead of him, I'll see it eventually :) That story someone posted about their snake shedding in their hand was crazy!
