Hi everyone so I just moved to a new apartment in September. (About a month ago now.) First it was just my older snake Nagini but now Dez as well have both been acting skittish and not like their normal selves. They are set up in the living room right now but I'm thinking of moving their tubs to the bedroom where it's quieter and less bright. What do you guys think?

Also I don't know if this makes a difference but because we are still lacking a table for them. their sterilite tubs are just sitting on the floor. They might feel a little bit more insecure as a result?

They definitely could just be adjusting to their new surroundings. I don't think being on the floor matters, but a quieter room could be good, just to avoid stressing them out a lot.

Are the temps okay? Being on the floor may make a difference temperature wise. That can cause a snake to change behavior.

It did occur to me that it could be a temp problem however it's pretty warm here and even the house temp has been 75-80F in the house. Their warm spot is set to 85-86. I moved their tubs to the bedroom last night and then I got them a meal. So I'll check them tomorrow. And see how they are feeling. Should I turn their thermostats up?
