Hey guys, I've been lurking around the site for a couple months now and after lots of research my boyfriend and I decided to get a corn snake. We bought her from jonigarcia.com and had her shipped to us last night :)

She's a Caramel Motley, het Amel and Stripe. We brought her home and she's settled right in. We handled her for a few minutes and she was curious, not very scared at all. Her favorite spot seems to be in the fake silk plant we have in her enclosure :)

She was hatched in late summer so she's still tiny. I'll post photos when I get some together :)

Welcome to the addiction and congrats on getting your first corn snake(lol maybe not last :D) corn snake!

She is a gorgeous caramel...you can't go wrong with one of Joni's snakes!

Haha, yeah, her name is from WoW (World of Warcraft). It's an online RPG... the land of Azshara has creatures called naga, which are half snake and half mermaid. The landscape in the area has a lot of browns and yellows, like her :) And of course, my bf and I liked the name anyway :)

HA! I KNEW it! When I first read her name my only thought was "Azshara.... NW of Orgrimmar?" Don't worry, Im a total nerd here too. I remember the very first time I saw Azshara... it was by accident as young troll, a spider killed me in an instant. LOL!
 
Wow! Where do I start?
First off, welcome to the site, and this community full of wonderful people :)

Second, I LOVE your girl! One of my favorite snakes is my caramel motley, her name is Carmen. Your girl is incredible now, but just wait! She will transform herself into a golden goddess, you won't believe it!

Third, I don't know Joni, but she has great animals, and a stellar reputation.

You have made a great beginning into this wonderful new adventure!
