My snakes name is Dayoh after the song beetle juice, I sing it some times to joke with my 5yr old son and when we got the snake he named it after that special song we sing. Kinda cute huh!
I had the privilege of meeting him several times when I was a child. I grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois...and we would actually see him at the grocery store sometimes when we went shopping (his son was still in a stroller...and this was WELL before the Bears won the SuperBowl.) He also used to train at a landfill (of all places, he would run up and down the side of the steep hill in the loose dirt) in Buffalo Grove that was within sight of one of my closest childhood friends houses. We played there on a regular basis (not IN the trash...LOL) and would see him often. He ALWAYS made time to say hello and was probably one of the nicest and POLITEST people I have ever met, period. Regardless of celebrity status (which was HUGE at the time...especially in Chicago!!) he was just a very nice man. Actually Mike Singletary was the same way...also a VERY VERY nice man.
