Breathing- Carpet Python

Gunna take her to the vet but stitches my IJ carpet python let's out a puff of air sometimes, and sometimes when holding her I can almost feel like an internal cough ornlmething. I already wanted to take her just to take her but was wondering if there is anything I should address specifically.

snakes do sneeze sometimes for the same reasons we do, but if it is persistent, there is some visible mucus either on her nose or her enclosure, and gaping, she may have an RI. It's good that you're taking her to the vet just in case. Make sure to bring a stool sample.

Is she possibly in blue? I don't know if it's the same with carpets, but sometimes my corn snakes will puff out air before they shed and it always clears up after they shed.

She doesn't appear to be in shed. No mucus or any kind of discharge. She will be to the vets in two-three days.

She blows air about every time she is touched, same sound she makes when she blows air. I thought she was hissing but she isn't aggressive in the least.

Carpets can get a bit "hissy" when being touched, a few of mine do. It's typically a sign of irritation aka grumpy.
You can bump up her temps a couple degrees in the meantime, and leave her be.
She might just be cranky from a lot of handling, and the change of being in a new home. You haven't had her that long, it's probably good to let her settle in anyways.

I hope she comes back clear from the vet!

Temp is about 77 and humidity is around 60-65%. If she did it only when she was touched I wouldn't worry to much, but she will just puff air just laying there. I also just want to get her into the vet for a wellness check. Today she actually hissed when I was changing out her water today. First real hiss.

Is 77 the cool side temp, or the only temp?
Do you have a hot side for her? If not, you need to! IJ's can be more temperature sensitive, and not having adequate heat can easily lead to an R.I.

What is your exact setup for her?

Warm side reads about 78 right now, cools side is at 74, hot spot of 90. As far as I have read that is pretty good temps, right about where they should be for a carpet.

Clean bill of health, a little underweight, not much tho. It's not a hiss but it is a behavioral response when she puffs air, still not sure why she randomly does is tho. Healthy otherwise :)
