:spinner: hellow i am omri from israel new to the forum and it looks very nice !
can someone help me think of a good breeding project of my corns ?
right now i have a amel male (adult) het for anery and motly, a normal female (adult) het for amel and motely and another (adult) female who is het for amel and posibbly for motely and anery (all brumating).
lets call the male 1 the female that is 100% het for motely 2 and the other female 3 just to make it easier.
1 and 2 have produced some beautiful corns last summer (they where motlys ,albinos, normals and motly albinos) i have kipped from the clutch 1 motly and 1 motly albino.
what snake do you think will "work" good with the three adults for next year
and for what should i look up for ? i mean what intresting morph can i produce with those corns or with adding one to the colaction?

thanks alot and im sorry for the very bad english:(
bye the way i am getting two normals het for blizzard next week :D

Welcome to the site. Your English is just fine, your probably better at spelling than I am. I can't really help with your question I haven't got into breeding. I can tell you that people will be wanting to see pictures of your snakes, that may help then answer your questions better :D

well thanks

thanks for the compliment altho i doubt it...:p
and i would be glad to upload some pictures in the next couple of days.

Welcome! Try the corn calculator :

http://www.corncalc.com

Plug in your snakes in various combinations & see what happens!

And don't worry about your English. Lots of us can't spell or can't type!

realy thanks about the calculator but the first thing i want to understand is what snke shuold i purchase now for the "project" and then to check in the calculator how well does it go with my snakes ?

sorry about the bothering :\

Ok for what you have if you wanted to start a specific project for what you have you can go one of two ways for with your culled motely amlbino(amel). You can ether take that baby and breed it to you amel male or female classic het amel motley depending on sex and cull off a breeding pair of amel motleys with as little white as possible or with a lot of white depending on what you get. So what I am getting at is other working towards motely sunglows (no white on amels) or motley reverse oketees (large white boarders). Now if you want to buy somthing else and start a different project then look for a female since your only snake now that is homo for a trait is your amel. A good starting breed to go with an amel in my opinion would be a bloodred or also called diffused. These snakes along with amel has a trade name of fires. You would get all classics in the first year but you second generation has possibilities for really red snakes. All of this is up to you. What kind of snakes do you like seeing in the world? What is your favorite color? How long of a project are you willing to undertake? The great thing about cornsnakes is that your options are almost unlimited as to what you can do. Main thing is have fun and work with snakes that you love.

Lol just had to add. That is the longest post I have done. Just posted that from the phone while cookin dinner and looked at that afterwards and went whoa! Lol

arpolis man thanks

i think i will go on the idier of an sunglow motley
and about the bloodred i actualy had one but he died notm long after i got him :(
may be somtimes ill get one
thanks really much :D

i would say out of the ones you have, #1x#3 just because you would be working towards getting snow motleys, even though you wouldn't get them at first and if you did it would be a low percentage.

ohh :)
its sound like a grate idea
i think i will try to produce amel motleys snow motleys and anery motleys baysicly stick on the motley path
and im actualy geting on this friday a male and female het for blizzard (09) as a small project in the side :p
im gonna be bisy breeding next couple of years :crazy02:
thank's everyone
