Breeding ?

Hello,

I just got an 02 female snow corn that I would like to breed. I am waiting for Kathy loves book so I can read up on it. I do have some questions while I am waiting for it that I thought I would ask here. Since I just got her is it not recommended that I breed her in 2006?

If I can breed her in 2006 is putting her in burmation towards the end of January to late? I would like to give her some time to settle in and I know you should burmate them, I was told that she was always put into burmation before she bred so I want to keep with that.

Also, when I do get ready to breed her do I bring the male to her or her to the male? Do they need to get to know each other (by letting them out together and seeing how they act together) before we put them in the same viv?

I am totally new at bredding and have a lot of reading to do. I thought this could give me a little bit of a head start.

Thanks for the help.

Teri
