Bufo Americanus, Or: An excuse to try out my new camera.

I have had a new camera for the last couple of weeks, and haven't really been taking many pictures with it. My goal was to try and be able to even come close to some of the quality of photos I see on here from time to time. There really are some amazingly talented photographers on CS.com.

The new camera is a Sony DSC-H7, a SLR-like 'point and shoot' camera with a lot of fancy pants features. I won't pretend to have anything more than a passing knowledge of photography, but these pictures actually look pretty good to me.

Anyhow, here are the pictures. A rather large toad I found hopping around outside. He was an uneasy model, and I got the idea he (or she) wasn't at all amused by all the flashing.
