It's a rat snake, perhaps an albino yellow rat, or something of the sort. Defiitely not a butter corn.
 
its got really buggy eyes so could it be a cross between a trans pecos rat to a butter corn?
because it does not look like any yellow rat to corn crosses i have seen.

It bugs me no end that this is still such a problem here. I'm sorry your friend got duped. If they can contact the seller they realy should -they should be entitled to their money back. Was it through repti? Was it anyone I know?
