Buying pinky mice

Hello, i recently purchased a corn snake and about 10 weeks worth of food for him. However, the pet store where I live just closed so know the closest place I can get food for my snake is about 60 miles away. Does anyone know of any descent websites where I would be able to buy pinky mice?

oh, ya!

I use this website alllllll the time, it is a great one, Rodentpro.com The mice are really cheap, but the shipping is a lot more, so if your going to buy, buy a lot at a time, like 500 or 200. Depends on how many snakes you got...

Butters,

Another alternative is reptile shows. You can usually get feeders MUCH cheaper and buy in bulk. Last time I went to our local reptile show I paid 50 cents for adult mice, which was over half the price I paid at my local petstore.

The only problem I found with online sites was the shipping didn't make it worth my while since I only have 3 snakes and shipping costs drove the price up almost as high as if I went to the pet store. Good luck in whatever avenue you take.

I agree with snakemom, i buy all my feeders at reptile shows. there is one problem though, everytime i go i tend to leave with something other than mice! especially when they have such a wide selection of corns for so cheap. but i buy like 50 mice at a time for like $18 as to like $2 a piece at pet stores, and when i looked at online stores, after payin for shipping i was paying almost the same amount as i would to buy in a pet store, but if you have to drive sixty miles and there arent any reptile shows around, then i would say rodentpro.com or you can go to google and type in feeder mice and see the selection that comes up.

I couldn't agree with you MORE. I went for adult feeders for Tiaga, and came home with a baby okeetee along with my feeders. Next month when I go to the reptile show I'm going to have to try to use restraint and just get the feeders I need...lol

Heh last show I ended up with a baby female Ball Python.

Luckily the corn selection is so small currently that I wasn't TOO tempted to get any new corns.

Thank you for your replies. I checked out rodentpro.com and that would probably be my best bet, but i'm not sure that i want to buy over 100 pinky mice because i'll sooner or later have to start feeding my snake larger mice. As for these reptile shows, i've never been to one and I have no idea where they are held or how to find out. Anyone have any more information on these reptile shows?

If you go to www.kingsnake.com they have a list of reptile shows right there on the home page, if you don't see a show for your state just click where it says "More......." and it'll show you a longer list of shows.

I guess i consider myself lucky that i have a GREAT local reptile store near me that only wants 70 cents per f/t pinky the store owner John has great prices on all his feeders from his mice and rats to his crickets and mealworms and super worms. And its a good thing since i have 8(and counting...lol) snakes, 1(soon to be 2) lizards, and a frog that i have to buy feeders for.

Depends on where in michigan you are. There's one in Grand rapids the second sunday of every month. Then there's on in Taylor michigan, and I believe that one is the 1st saturday of every month. I'm not sure if there are any up north or not. Hope this helps.

There is also a website that lets you buy a "grow up pack" that has some different size mice in less quantity. Sorry but I don't remember what the website was, try searching "Grow up pack" I know its mentions a few times in some different threads. ;)
